Technical Uplink Summary

The telemetry updates follow a 5-second cycle to respect API rate limits and ensure Gründlichkeit (computational thoroughness). The "slow" refresh is a strategic architectural choice to maintain link stability.

1. Ground Track (Haversine)

Calculates the distance between Milford and the point directly beneath the satellite on a spherical Earth.

d = 2R · arcsin(√[sin²(Δφ/2) + cos φ₁ · cos φ₂ · sin²(Δλ/2)])

2. Slant Range (Law of Cosines)

Solves the straight-line "line of sight" distance through the atmosphere to the actual altitude of the satellite.

s = √(R² + (R+h)² - 2R(R+h) · cos(d/R))

3. Signal Simulation

The Signal % represents RF attenuation via the inverse square law. As Slant Range (s) approaches Altitude (h), signal strength approaches 100%.

"Real-world data is asynchronous. We architect our systems to handle latency without compromising mathematical integrity."
